Well I did get a Vette the other night but it was stock. So I was not to excited. Today it was a maxed out Buick Grand National. It had a 3 stage chip, after market intercooler, headers, full exhaust, Drag radials, & some trans. work. He said that was all he had. All I got is a JLP street chip, JLP 5# pulley, JLP ram air, & single-bore throttle body.

1st. Run was from 20 mph he got me in 1st but I came back in 2nd
and it was all over for him.

2nd. Run was from 10 mph he got me all of 1st and the 1st part of
2nd. I did pass him before I hit high gear. I spun the tires
about 15 to 20 feet.

3rd. Run from dead stop rolled the truck about 30 feet then hit it.
I was a little concerned that time but it did not spin to bad
and I put up a better run that time. That was all that he
could put up with. His brother would not ride back with him.
He got in the truck with me. That is when he told me he had
a Cobra. He had got out run by the Grand National and was
glad that I out run him with a ford. He told me that the
Grand National had just about all you could do to it. He had
out run everybody in town with it. He also was running race
fuel.

 

Great runs. I've seen ungodly fast GN's at Milan....9's and 10's. Most average street ones are between 11's and 12's. I still would love to have a GNX to mess around with.
