I bought a bassani X pipe and will be getting the cat back to go with it around x-mas. I crawled under the L to see what has to be done to put the X pipe on. Me and a buddy tugged and pulled on the exhaust for 1 and a half hours and never got it broke loose. What the crap am i doing wrong lol !!!!. There is no weld to cut and all the bolts where taken off.

 

I had the same problem when I got ready to put on my JDM Silver Bullet. I wont even go into all the crap did to get it off.
What the problem is,when the clamps are tightned at the factory,it crimps the outer pipe to the inner pipe.

I took mine to a muffler shop and they had to cut it off with a torch.
