fiberglass subbox?

i have two jl audio 12inch subs. i am thinking of selling them to my brother and buying a single 10inch that can withstand more power then both of them combined...

my question is should i do that or keep the 12s? does it annoy the passanger to have a sub under their seat? can i fit a 10 under the middle seat?

is it worth it to make a sub box out of fiberglass vs. wood? and what is an approx cost to have a box made from fiberglass vs. wood?

i ask this here because i figure if anyone has tried it, a fellow lightning owner has.

Its going to be hard to make the same bass with 1 ten like you did with 2 12's. that is unless you had some crap sub that only handled 100 watts and the new 10inch sub will handle 1000 watts.

What kind of subs did you have before and I'll tell you what kind of 10 inch sub to get.

I have a friend at custum car audio in farmington hills, they can make you a custom box any way you want as long as it's possible. just talk to joe, and tell them mike sent you and he will give you a very fair price , just remember custom stuff isnt usually cheap. but hes really good...
