the hemi rams are coming next week
a friend of mine that works for the same company i work for but the dodge sales, tells me that the new ram hemi's are coming next week for sure. i think i'll check it out, but i doubt this is the srt ram.
i'm thinking its a v8 with hemi heads that has all looks and no power.
anyway i'll get back to you on this.

Seriously, though, that's pretty cool. We're witnessing the musclecar revival, here - And Chevy just dropped their pony car!
I mean, seriously, look at what's coming out - GTO, Mustang Mach 1, Boss F150 (queer as it is...), Charger, etc... Hopefully Dodge'll get that Hemi working well to put IN the Charger...

A friend of mine's dad works for Dodge and at one our their quarterly meeting they were told that dodge is 6 months into testing their new hemi motor in the new Ram 1500. The new hemi's are only going to be available in the 2500 and 3500 rams for a while. In 04' there will be a Ram r/t with a 400hp hemi version. The srt will be extremely low numbers like the vipers. The srt wasn't recieved as well as they thought. Their was no way to lower the price including a 500 hp viper motor. So they started engineering the Ramk r/t with the hemi. Was also told the next dakota r/t will be slightly bigger and be a cross between the stylings of the m/80 and power wagon and have a 300hp v8. Also since dodge's return to NASCAR they are putting a premium on owning the streets. The L will be way ahead on engineerring and hp because the 2nd gen has been out since 99'. Ford will never lose to Dodge on the streets. At least i hope not.

Dodge's new hemi is 345HP. It will be available in the HD trucks initially. Rumor has it that a rear wheel drive car with the hemi motor will be offered. It would be a good guess that we will see the hemi in the 1500 and Dakota. Mercedes/Dodge seems to be serious about their SRT division. They claim that anything with an SRT badge will be the fastest production vehicle produced in North America in that class. We will see. I like the competition, in the end I will have a better Ford product to choose from.

It's a shame, too. If it had something like a 200+HP forced induction motor, it would be worth a crap.

The neon srt will be the best bang for the buck with the ricer crowd. It will have a 2.4l turbo motor with 205hp not 150. It will be the fastest car dodge has besides the viper. I have a 01 neon as my work car and i would never buy another one.

Heck, in that price range, untouchable.
5.9 second 0-60... Not too shabby!

Yet again another sport truck that is allegedly the Lightning killer is just an all hype vehicle. Dodge will be joining the ranks of Chevy, and getting a great view of our tail lights
