You have to remember that a 275/45 will be pretty damn close to the width of a 295/40 tire, the sidewall also matters.
Besides width is everthing these days, its the motion in the ocean. not thats not it, its the compound that matters more then anything else. How do you think outlaw mustangs are running 8's with 10.5 inch wide tires? Its all about the compound!

Pennywise,
That 20mm is less than an inch. Harley trucks have a 275/45/20 tire don't they ???? It's all about contact patch my man, if you put too big a tire on a small width rim you'll get too much roll. Maybe use the 275's on the front than get some fatty 9.5"+ wide wheels out back and put the 295's on those suckas !!!!!

check and see if that width on that tire is 8.5 on the inside or the outside of the lip cause I know some guys on here have those rims with a 20x8.5 rating and they put 295 tires on them cause there really 9inch wide rims when you measure them right. Best bet is to call the manufacturer and ask them what they suggest and if you can run a 295 on that rim.

Im going to have to call the manufacturer I guess and find out about that lip thing. I probably can live with the 275 if it really comes to it though. 22mm isnt much really...all the harleys I have seen that are lowerd any have a nice stance. Thanks for the responses, all you guy's trucks are lookin sweet bye the way.
and rob, im diggin the orange on black in a big way, that pic looks pretty mean bro

... how much of a difference in width is that anyway? (between the 295 and 275)
