Yeah that looks better. It's weird because mine has LG (light gray) molded into the plastic on the sub.....

95 Saleen S351,

I would say that you received a tan one by mistake. It happens.

I placed mine in my truck yet again in the day light and it doesn't look good. It was pretty close (a grey-ish brown color) but not enough to keep me happy. I pulled it out and used the paint I had left from painting my guage pod. I figure it will look good even being the light grey like the A-pillars.

Hey Rob 02 L,
How did you mount yours. I don't want to put screws through my floor. I just cable tied it to the bars behind that black vent/shield on the floor, but it is still about 1/4-1/8 inch on top away from the dash. Let me know yours looked real tight.

As for the sound, I really think it makes the L's sound 150% better. Although, now I'm thinking about a new deck, amp, and speakers.... I knew I shouldn't have touched it.

Get the interior paint code for the interior from the body shop and then purchase a can of plasti-cote. Its a vinyl/plastic dye that doesnt peel, crack, etc. You can dye it the proper color without going through the shipping headache.

SVTMoonshine,

I said thats WHAT IT SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE. Mine was send in tan too, so I'm waiting for the grey one to come now. In the mean time I'm using the tan one. Yes your right about getting the top flush, for now I also used ties and put a shim under the front edge to close that gap. When the Grey One comes, I'll let you know what I did.

95 Saleen S351, yep - I just received mine tonight and it looks brown as well. It has the correct part numbers on the box and the sub itself. Oh well, Crutchfield is sending another one out and they are going to open the box to make sure the color is right.

Flying ****, in case you are not aware - Crutchfield sends you return labels with your shipment in case you don't want it. And, they pay for return shipping. All you do is put the label on the box and drop it off at a pack & ship place.

I have been really impressed with Crutchfield, good customer service and nice people.

Jim
