Went to the local SVT Dealer and got a deal you guys would not believe!!!!!!!!!!! So long story short I am the prowed owner of a new 2002 Red Lightning. I pick it up on Wednesday

Well I am in Canada so I will do the exchange rate to US Currency...
Trade 1993 Lumina Z34 187 Thousand KM
Lease Lightning for 4 years
Payment 650 Canadian = $415 month taxes in
Buy back at end of lease = 14500 Canadian =$9250

We negotiated the payments from 987 Canadian a month down to 650 a month so thats from
630us to $415US without putting any more down. We got them to lower the interest rate/give me more for my trade and take more off the Lighting till I was happy.

So when all is said and done I got the price of the Lightning for $26000 and got $3195 for my Lumina. (Both American currency)

I dont know if those are good prices in the states but in Canada from those who I have talked to it is unheard of.

 

Nice choice on buying the L. Are you keeping your Z? I sold my 96Z stroker several years ago...and haven't regretted it yet

 

Yup way to much time and money into the Camaro so it is going to be my toy and the Lightning my daily driver.

 

Thinking about lease financing makes my head hurt.

 

So where exactly in Canada might you be and what dealer are we talking about.

(Just a curious fellow Canadian, always looking for a deal!)

If I remember correctly from an earllier post, he said somewhere that he was from Orleans. I'd say that he bought from Campbells in Ottawa because they are the closest SVT dealer. Am I right? If so who did you deal with?
