nittto 555 vs 555r

how much better is the R than the regular 555?

I think that the "R" is the drag radial!!! In that case you would want the "R's" for the rear and the plain 555 for the front!!!!

IMO: The "R" should be considered "track only" if your area experiences any sort of rain or snow. You might be able to get around with them in the rain, but it'll take some skill. Also, it seems most people are getting 1/3 the mileage from the "R" vs the regular 555.

i have a friend that just put them on his blown and juiced stang,that car hooks really well now!!so much so that im getting the 305 555R's for my truck

nitto tires suck they finished last in the bfg tests, but their drag radials are pretty decent. i still prefere bfg. just my 2cents

I might put them on the rear just to increase the towing capacity.
