Ported intake. This intake was ported to the Ford SVO throttle body and you can see that there is still a mismatch.

A view from the inside.

Photo of a stock throttle body and stock inlet. A mismatch can be introduced here too.

The whole point here is that it is easy to get the throttle body shifted to the bore of the inlet adapter. The photos show the worst case and the need for a simple porting.

Great visual. Thanks BABolt. This is what I have been talking about in previous posts. For the non-skeptics there is horsepower to be had here. This is where the T/B whistle comes from. For the skeptics enjoy the cool sound your T/B makes.

So are you bolting the Tbodies on, then taking a grease marker or sharpy pen and outline the ridge that has to be removed?

Is the material in the inlet soft enough to be eaten away in a relative small amount time with a dremel? Or would i need a air die grinder? Thanks.

Flying, you are on the right track. Dremel works great. I used 80 grit then 120, then polish compound.
