Good A/F guages are very expensive.

Yes if you want that kind of accuracy, but then why bother. You might as well hook up a computer if you need real accurate wide band O2 sensors.

But if he wants a good gauge that will work with the factory O2 sensor then they can be baught for 50-100 or so. Or you can make one for about 20 or so.

Either way the factory doesn't have a gauge in the truck to monitor this.

You would need a wide band o2 sensor to get the accurate readings. You looking at about $700 for a kit though ive seen one introduced at the mid $550 level. That o2 sensor is bitchen if youre running an auto tap with extended parameters.

You mean if you get a wideband o2 sensor and place it on the truck the Autotap will pick it up?

Is there anything else to do? I always thought that wideband o2 sensor had more wires then a standard o2 sensor.

The FJO wideband air/fuel meter is relatively inexpensive. I hope it works well. It uses a 5 wire O2 sensor. You can get the economy Horiba one for a mere $1500 then they sell their O2 sensor for another $500.
