need tips to reduce 60ft time

I keep having trouble spinning the rear wheels and the best I've managed to do in mid 80 degree weather with 90% humidity is the following run:

Reaction 0.5059
60ft 2.0688
330ft 5.6126
1/8 8.5415
1000ft 11.0820
1/4 et 13.2329
1/4 mph 104.94

Any tips on how I can reduce the 60ft time. I try to ease on the throttle and then step on it, but I still manage to spin. Also what 60ft time should I shoot for? Does the temperature and humidity matter for the 60ft time? Sorry for all the questions but I'm all new to drag racing.

Best thing to do is invest in a set of slicks. You are only gonna get so far on F-1's.

With slicks you should be able to pull mid 1.7's. I use ET Streets and get 1.7's with less boost than your running.

The weather dose play a pretty big part, a nice low temp, low humitidy and a cool truck you coule shave .2 or maybe more off your time. pratice will help your 60'.
I ran:
Reaction 0.609
60ft 1.925
330ft 5.439
1/8 8.311
1000ft 1.754
1/4 et 12.958
1/4 mph 105.89
with a 3#, chip and air kit, with a 6# and your other mods you should go 12.6's or faster on a good day. good luck at the track!

I got a 1.653 on F1's once

I have no idea how I did that, I used to do 1.8's on my F1's before I went to slicks

One thing that will help is lowering the air in the rear tires to about 27psi

These track links knocked off almost 1/10 on my 60' times. No wheel hop and real good bite on my F1's.

I don't really agree that the weather can help THAT much on 60' times. I do agree that the weather plays a MAJOR part for the entire run but the first 60' is nothing but traction and torque. If you have a decent cool down you could run in 90* air and get damn close to the same 60' times you do in 60* air..IMO

I just got back from the track and had a 1.75 in 78* air. I was at the track a few weeks ago and only got 1.77's in 62* air. Both passes were on equally cool motors.
