this started to get real annoying today. when i let off the throttle it sounds like high pitch squeaking coming from under my truck. it is not there when i am on the gas, only when i let off and the engine winds down. also, it only happens when my truck is warmed up. i am thinking it is my exhaust, and some part of it is loose. have any of you experienced this noise? and if so, do you know what i need to do to stop it?

If it's "squeaking" then it might be the front end suspesion loading up as the torque is removed from the rear. Something might be worn(shocks, bushings, etc.?) or 'dry'???

If you still suspect the exhaust then I would put it on jack stands and take a mallet/hammer and start tapping the cats, joints, clamps, etc.
