JL ram air?

JL ram air?

Do any of you guys running this have problems with sucking up water? I am thinkin bout getting it . tell me what you think

Don't worry about water although one guy sucked in a bird! I've driven with my PSP Fast Air kit on for 15,000 miles or so and run it thru a high-pressure--no-touch car wash and never had a problem. Get the Outerwear filter 'sock' too as it repels water.

Never had a problem sucking water with my JL Ram Air setup...

no flame, just perspective.

One of the only ways (if even) water is going to be injested into the engine with the JL or PSP unit is to hit a DEEEP puddle at a HIGH rate of speed or drive into a large body of water...

they are not closed systems.

Think of it this way. try taking a drink using a straw with your mouth open...

I've driven a total of 35000 miles on two different daily driven (rain included) Lightnings using JL's setup. The PSP unit is also good setup.

Not one issue, EVER

Increased blower whine is a value-add feature, or something.
