DUD Autometer Boost Gauge?

Have my autometer boost gauge in for about a month now and it's starting to **** me off. I got a 4 lb lower on and when i nail it i constantly am only getting 7-9 lbs off boost showing up on the gauge while the stocker is buried in black. Do i have a dud or is the stocker really THAT bad???

I had a defective guage too.
I sent it back and get the electronic full sweep guage.
It is more money but a much better guage.

Well thats possible. I am sending mine back this week. Mine is now reading 20lbs of boost with #4 and JDM chip. That chip is tough, huh? Its warrenty through Autometer for 1yr. If its a recall gauge like mine the map sensor has to be pointing down to read properly. It gets condensation in the sensor. Send it back and get another if its hooked up right.

If you have the guage that I think you have, this is where you should mount the MAP Sensor.

Up under the dash
