Niagara Falls with Lightning
I'm planning a lil long weekend trip to niagara falls. I will be taking the lightning and I (as many of you) are **** about where I park.
Any recommendations on places to stay/park where I can park far away from other vehicles but where the truck is still safe?
Thanks.

Stay on the Canadian side, nicer, safer and a better view of the falls. We stayed in a hotel that has a tower with a beautiful view, but I forget the name, got it on the internet. It's off season, so rates should be lower.
Drive down river to Niagara-on-the-Lake, nice drive to a nice town. Take the walk under the falls. Ride the Maid-of-the-Mist.
On the American side; visit the park between the falls, Robert Moses Dam, good view of the Whirlpool, cheaper gas, not much else.

As soon as you cross the rainbow bridge you will see the Sheraton hotel. They have indoor parkingand should be safe. You are within walking distance to all the sight's.Clifton hill, the falls and casino.Make sure you have a picture ID with you!Passport or drivers liscence. Also exchange your money.Last month we turned in $120. US dollars and received $180. Canadian.Gas was about .$ .67. a litre which is about $ 250. per gallon.Hope this helps.
