So the Lihgtning can tow!! :~)

I was happy but I have never towed before. It felt like it was so bad for the Lightning even though I know it was not that bad.

Here are some pics of me towing the Camaro From Ottawa Canada to Toronto Canada (About 200 miles) You should have seen the looks I was getting.. People yelling and about 50000 thumbs up on the drive up

Looks nice. You're probably close to the weight rating. How was the stability/etc? Any "tail wagging the dog"? The heaviest thing I've towed with my L is a Kendon motorcycle trailer, but then I used to tow it with a Subaru.

A Ford towing a Chevy! You should troll that pic over in one of the bowtie forums and see if you get a nibble...

Yes, the Lightning can tow, and tow quite a bit with stock suspension.

I have towed a 25' Baja SS boat and trailer, and it doesn't even hiccup at the task. Also, my bud Eric tows a 27' Enclosed trailer and his 600hp Saleen, with no problems, through the Carolina mountains.

The Lightning can do most abything you throw at it.

I know it's not very smart but.....(famous last words) I towed my girlfriends Cherokee on a 21' open car trailer up a 6% hill at over 100 MPH. All of you would have done the same thing. There was a cavalier trying to pass me. You think you get bad gas mileage just driving around town, try towing 7,500lbs worth of car and trailer around behind you.

May I ask if you have any track times for the camaro>??? I heard the agostino setups are great. My buddy has an 00 WS6. Just curious. Thanks, -Mat-
