Hi -- a dealer in my town is selling a 99 L with 34,000 miles for 20K what do you guys think about that price, and what should I look out for? BTW its stock and very clean. Thanks in advance!

I have a 2000 that I will sell for 22,000 with only 31000 miles, brand new tires, and very very nice. Email me at[ classifieds ] OH and there is no sales tax to pay on this one.

 

Why would there be no sales tax?

 

Private seller=no tax...............dealer=tax :-)

 

yeah but when you register you have to pay that sales tax to the dmv anyways.....

 

Maybe I was mistaken but in GA if you sell from individual to individual there is no sales tax due.

the market is funny.

I had a hard time selling my eight month old '01 with about 9K miles for 26,500 last march here in VA, but some folks out west Cali and Arizona and such have to pay (and are willing to pay) quite a premium price over sticker for a new one, and pay alot for a used one as well. maybe they are harder to find out there??? I dont know.
