Dont have my '03 Lightning yet but gonna go ahead and plan ahead. This is my first time fixing up a truck. Anyways iam not to sure if i want 18" Chrome or 20" I will probably go with the 20"
ford lightning rims(any ideas on what kinda tires?). Plan on lowering it. Whats the best lowering #'s for a lighting? And probably slap some extra stuff to engine. Enlighten me your ideas

You'll find that most users on this board are stock. We prefer to keep our warranties, and would never disrupt the delicate balance that Ford has engineered.

LMAO@Spank. That is funny! I am considering the Ford Racing lowering kit cause I can get a good deal on it and it is not a crazy low drop. Exhaust is awesome too. I love the sound of mine. Goodluck with the truck when you get it. -Mat-

Best thing to do is order it with the 20" chrome wheels - it won't cost extra to ask for them. As far as the best lowering numbers are concerned, any number that you can't read upside down is best. The engine is built well, so you can slap it all you want but I suggest wearing good leather gloves. Some of the edges are sharp and it could be a bloody mess without them.

rscoleman is right on about the board members. Most all of them are stock but just say they have chips. Little do most know, they're talking about Frittos.
