i doing the acetone mod today and rubbed some of the paint below the tag off like the size of your pinky's cuticle. will touch up paint work or will it look like ****?

 

Sorry to hear about that. That is why when I did mine I took my time and prepped the area. Sure, touch up paint will work in covering up the area but it won't look the same.

 

That's sucks bro, touch up paint should help cover it, but it won't look the same

If you haven't finished yet... get q-tips, cotton *****, and a bucket of soapy water...

Acetone won't strip the paint right away, just don't let it sit there....

 

Ouch... when painting and whatnot you should always prep the area's around where your working... hopefully the touchup paint will fix your problem...

Acetone will kill the placticizers in the paint. Might not see the effects right away but the clear in that area will fail sooner than the rest of the paint. Will also oxidize quicker.
