MotorCraft 5w-20 is Synthetic?
Check this post. Is this true? (about MotorCraft 5w-20 being synthetic, not void warrenty)

tarp5350 fords motocraft 5w-20 oil is a synthetic oil the same as mobil 1 I just think mobil 1 has not come out with the 5-20 yet but I am sure they will I would use the SAE 5W-20 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil from motocraft untill mobil 1 comes out with there's, And to answer your question if your dealer wanted to report your engine failer do to using 5w-30 then yes your warrenty would be void. ( but they would have to test the oil first unless you told them)
