im a consistant 13.2 - 13.6 === Highway & City

all highway w/ 94 octane i got === 16mpg

it sucks! at least my ranger was getting 18mpg average allthough it was only an 18 gallon tank, where as the L, is a 25 gallon tank so it still lasts about a week and a half.

my cobra get over 20mpg all the time.

If your worried about gas mileage dont buy an L. Mine runs on a tankful for over 3 or 4 weeks...LOL. Only drive it on the weekends. But seriously it gets 14/15 city...and 17 highway.

I know the mileage will be bad. Right now I have a '67 Mustang. And believe me it sucks it down. I was just trying to get an idea.

I only get about 12 in town( I love to punch a lot ), but on cruise I get over 23 mpg. Credit goes to PSP for his economy program. I only could get 17 mpg on the highway before@77.

THE ORPHANER

Hey the Orphaner,

Where did you get your MONSTRAS and are they 20 or 22? I've been wanting to get those wheels but I could only get $800 a wheel. I do not know what the tires run; but I sure LIKE the look!

My dad normally gets 10-12. The truck is normally driven 2 miles at normall speed, and 2 miles or so around WOT, and thats about the life of the truck,

When my L was new I was getting high 11s and low 12s. Now that the engine has had a slight chance to get broken in I am now getting high 13s. Best to date is 13.8

If you're expecting good mileage out of your Ligtning you bought the wrong truck. When I bought my L I was told if mileage and tire wear was a concern then dont buy it, best advise to give someone looking to buy a Lightning.
