That would be cool, but I think you would have MAJOR traction problems and the tranny would be ripped to pieces.

Question Where are you located

Do an internet search and even drive a few hours to get your vehicle back home. It's a great way to get to know it a little and start the break-in...

The problem is you will have a bunch of Mod money spent, no warranty and much lower resale value. If you want the performance go with the L. Good to Fords website and find another SVT dealer, you won't be sorry

The 4R70W tranny can handle 450rwhp with a good tranny cooler and a good shiftkit. You can also get them race built to handle 700+ hp.

Lightning Rodd, Purchase you a Lightning in CA and have it shipped to Guam. I just left Guam 1 year ago and it costs slightly over 1000.00 to have a vehicle shipped there. Better yet, have a military person ship the L over on their PSC (moving) orders for free!!

re. Dealer

Get the Lightning,no matter what it takes! Forged vs. Cast pistons, better suspension, nicer interior, better wheels and tires, better exhaust system, and lower compression. It would take about fifty grand to build your own Lightning. Just import one, and it comes with a warranty! Besides you would probably have the only Lightning on the island. Good luck, Skip
