I was wondering if anyone is using this plug with any success. Is this plug too hot to use with 4+ lbs. of boost? Also what gap is best for this plug?

I have used the TR5 when I had a 2lb pulley along with the 4lb pulley and continue using the TR5s with my 6lb pulley with no problems. Gap is .040

It's all in the tune

OOps..... I don't have the TR5ix sorry.

What spark plugs over stock would anyone recommend for a Lightning with just a chip and a filter? I've used the NGK TR5's and had detonation problems so I went back with stock which fixed that. The tech told me that the TR5's werent as cold of a plug for blown cars as stock, TR6s and Densos..

What you guys think?

I use the TR5s with a chip burned for 91 octane and a warm weather program. No detonation.
