Garage usage poll::

Over the years I've seen some strange posts, but what the heck....If the weather is so bad your washing your car in the garage, why wash it? I don't drive mine in bad weather, and if I did and it was dirty, I'd wait for good weather to wash it outside. I have a three car, open architecture style garage, but the last thing I'm going to do is spray it down with water......I'd get the carpet wet........What, you mean you guys don't have your garage carpeted?

mine has never been washed outside - always n a garage of some sort. by washing in the sun, you get water spots - regardless of the type of water. you also burn holes n the clearcoat since the water droplets magnify the suns rays.
i guess it helps that the fire departmnet is on my way home from work, and i can just pull a truck out and rinse mine off. my truck has always been kept outside, and still looks as clean as the day it rolled off the line.

Muchos gracias Senor Chiken
The floor is sealed with an all-inclusive kit from Rust-Oleum called Epoxyshield. Preparing the floor was the toughest part (read: lots of scrubbing) but applying the epoxy and tossing on the flakes was easy. Kits are available at Lowe's.
The 'baseboard', trim, and skirt were painted with Rust-Oleum industrial grade gloss black enamel.
The rolling shelves made it easier also.
Must give a shout out to Silver-Y2K-SVT for providing the catalyst for said project. His Batcave is the shizznit. Maybe he'll post a pic too.

tks everyone, my wife doesn’t think im so crazy now, well, at least for this anyway .
mroldv8, I crack the door just a bit for water drainage, and the first couple times I had it in, I pulled in better and wasn’t so close to the door, this time however, so im going to install a trap like a shower curtain for the door and in back to keeps those things dry, I was thinking about painting the door but don’t have the energy right now ..

I have a two car garage. My wife takes claim to one side and the attached sets on the other. That leaves the Lightning outside for now.
