i am too getting that marble in a can sound at startup, just started today, guess what... i just got my oil changed today too! im going to go check my filter...thanks guys

 

I just changed my filter. The only one I could find was the Mobil 1, but I feel real good about that one. I also got to see them cut apart in person, Auto Zone has a whole line up on the counter cut up. Then the guy say's NEVER BUY Fram, meanwhile they sold it to me less than 2 weeks ago. I also got to see what Sal was talking about, the Fram has some junky looking piece of plastic drain down in it, and the Mobil one has a nice steel spring and an all metal construction. I'll see if this helps my ticking on cold mornings ?

Is there anything that’s not intensified a million percent on our lightning? Use the wrong gas, you get detonation, use the wrong plugs, YOU MELT THEM, use the wrong filter, TICK TICK TICK in the morning. Don't change your fuel filter, LEAN LEAN LEAN.

I truly didn't realize I was going to have to throw away 30 yrs of automotive knowledge and go back to school when I bought this Lightning. GOOD THING I HAVE NO OTHER LIFE
