Hey TZRlightning01....I have heard the flowmasters lose power on the L's. I would stay with the magnaflow. The silver bullet sounds TIGHT!!! It is the cleanest meanest sound around! Not raspy. Also, good to see another Boston based L. Check out the NELO club on NLOC. Lots of good people, lots of fast trucks!

Kooks LT headers, high flow cats, and two Magna flows make alot of noise.

The silver bullet is a "glass pack" type exhaust. It is not however like the glass packs you buy at pep boys! I was real worried I would lose that deep rumble and get a "high school hot rod" sound with this set up, but it is so sweet it gives me a woodie every time I start the truck, or romp on it on the highway, or do a hole shot out of a stop light, or......you get the idea

oh, and the silver bullet comes with a nice welded on x-pipe, I think that helps out a bit.

hey whip, you and i are from the same general area, have you ever seen this car???

www.angelfire.com/ma4/tzr/pics

the orange '34 was my high school hot rod. btw exhaust was sanderson longtubes, 2" pipe into 4" body chambered ss/t mufflers, and 2.5" tailpipes out the back, true dual all the way. man it was bad a$$! sold it to get the L and a '66 Vette. bright orange paint with the loud pipes was a little too conspicuous in my small town, this is the reason I couldn't get a red L

I've heard Vinnie's truck idle - I thought my MAC sounded pretty good - but that Silver Bullet is just NICE. Such a beautiful sound!!! :-D

I have the JDM headers, high flow cats and silver bullet cat back. It is not as loud as the stock manifolds, cats and straight pipes. I miss those straight pipes...stomp on the gas with a car next to you they may swerve into your lane!
