Are you running the stock bottem end or a built one? What converter are you using? Who's tranny are you using? What tire are you running? And last but not least, what size pully's are you using? The reason I ask all these questions is because I should be recieving my Kenne Bell in the next week or so. I would appreciate it if you could answer some of my ?'s. thanks

I just ask Charlie about his tire/gear combo on his last best ET post and he said it is 3.73/ 28" combo. Also according to the KB web site a 2.75 top pulley and a 9.0 ( 6lb ?) crank pulley will get you 20.5lbs of boost. Cant answer about the rest.

smknjoe,

I can probably answer all your questions because Charlie and I have the same exact modification, except I don't have a rollbar yet.

We are both running a JLP built shortblocks. All of the internal engine parts are on the JLP website. PI 2600 stall convertors, stock tranny with a shift kit, Hoosier 28" slicks, 6lb lower and 2.75 upper for 20psi...I had 6lb lower and 3.25 upper for around 17psi, hence my additional .4 in the 1/4 mile.

Charlie,

It is all comming together for you now.
I have enjoyed our talks.
I even brought the mini bike for a rematch.
Once you get it all dialed in you definitly be in the mid 10's.

Congrads!!!

You are one of the coolest Lightning owners out there.
