I don't know any manufacturers of "leather" covers. You could probably have one made. I would buy a cover from one of the major vinyl cover manufacturers so you could use the frame and then have someone make a leather cover to fit on that frame.

You don't want leather...you want a durable, weather resistant material that looks like leather. If you are going to carry your bike, I recommend a roll-up style cover. This way you are not playing around with supports and such when it comes time to pull back the cover and load the bike. Check out: www.pace-edwards.com and www.accesscover.com. Both companies make excellent products. Good luck.

Sportmasters are fairly inexpensive and work well. They also have a lifetime warranty on the vinyl and frame.

The factory cover is pretty nice...I like mine. Real real easy to use.
Went and picked up a big craftsman tool chest last night...was real quick to take it apart to fit it in, then put it back together.

Here is a question to ask yourself. If you buy a factory cover and break a part of it, can you purchase that little part seperate? How much do replacement covers cost if yours is ripped?

I have had people come into my store complaining they can't get a replacement parts for their "factory" tonneau covers and the price on a new cover is around $400.

Extang makes a very good cover. I have their Black Max because I wanted snaps. They also make snapless versions.

If you bought the tonneau with your truck it has the 3 year or 36k mile warranty with it,or what ever you got for a bumper to bumper. Atleast this is how my dealer worked it, I had one of the back plastic corner pieces break on my Harley tonneau cover and they gave me a whole new one, not just the piece that broke. I thought that was a pretty good deal.

I have just recently change from the Harley Davidson Tonneau to the factory Lightning Tonneau thanks to JDM and I think it came out pretty good.

I just got my L but I really like the factory cover. Its easy and practical since you can install it and remove it in less than 5 minutes. I have those little metal bars on there too but I don't know if I like them very much since they kind of stick up, but they do keep the tonneau nice and stretched out and tight. But for the price I would just go with the factory cover.
