you dont *have* to but you might as well...it'll help your tranny stay cooler, you can just punch a hole to drain the fluid (unless u still want your stock pan),....

Clarification?

OK-

Exactly what are all these tranny mods that can be made?

Line pressure is pretty clear... Is it necessary to raise the line pressure if you use the FT Line Mod Valve?

What is the stock "torque reduction" programming doing exactly? Is this the shutting down of 4 cylinders during WOT?

What about moving the shift points around? I know most tuners program the shift points to "allow" the tranny to downshift more radically at WOT in the 20-40 range.... Is that what's frying 2nd gear?

I think it is awful that you made Ford pay for what you caused. You should have been honest and paid for the tranny yourself.

That is sad. I bet they'll have to lay off like 2,000 employees because of his selfishness. Tsk Tsk Tsk......

Chips are hard on the intermediate clutch, at stock they're about at the limit, a few mods and you'll toast 2nd gear pretty easily.

I guess they are your partners in crime. You should have gotten gift certificates for all the stock holders in Ford.

BTW, I would have done the same thing you did if I could get away with it.
