How are the Truck-Trak Traction Bars??

Are there any of you using the truck-trak traction bars? If so, how do you like them. Are they comparable to JDM, Johnny Lightnings, and PSP's. They are about $100 less expensive than any of those. Is this one of those, you get what you pay for. Are or they really good. Please give me your opinions, I would love to hear them. Thanks.

We sell the Truck Traks, and I always recommended them for people who use their vehicles as street/strip trucks, that see a lot of daily driving. There is no noise, no negative affects, they just work when you mash the throttle. I personally have run as low as 11.20 @118 with the Truck Traks, so you know they work .

That begs the question, what are you running now, the Cal-Tracs?

I was originally running the Cal-tracs, then switched to the Truck Traks when I got hooked up with Jay, to give them a try. I really liked them, so I left them on the truck for a while, as like I said earlier, I ran 11.20 with them, about this time last year. When we stepped the power up for this season, I went back to the Cal-Tracs because I wanted the ability to adjust pre-load, that the Cal-Tracs offer. I ran 10.78 earlier in the year with the Cal-Tracs, with a 1.51 60ft. About 2 months ago, I took the Cal-Tracs off, and am currently running the "Rancho" style bars like JLP and LFP sell. They have not yet improved my 60fts, with my best so far with them being a 1.53, but I haven't really used them much, so the jury is still out for a fair comparision.

Thumbs up

I've had my Truck Traks on for about 24,000 miles--daily driving and 1/4 mile track racing. I don't even know they're on except at the track--- no noise, fit with a 2" drop, took 30 minutes to install--all around good mod. Sorry, no pics.

I love my truck traks. I don't even know they are on. They look good and they work. 1.73 60ft with puny ET streets.

Ok but you can feel a difference on the street during "spirited driving" right? I have still never tracked my truck, so just looking to see if it would be worth it for everyday driving, when that ricer or vette pulls along side..

They only work when they HAVE to ... under full torque.

On a side note, they are ALSO great for when you have your
wheels broken off ... they acted like SKIDS and kept most of the
parts outta the dirt ... <LOL>

The tow truck guys also liked them cause they skidded so
easy... I think I may need a paint job on them, Jay, after
this testimonial, you think you could swing that? j/k

AND they eliminate the axle wrap-up which in turn breaks the driveshaft in the 01 and newer Lightning. Cheap insurance my friend. Please excuse the crapper pic **soap hasn't come by to clean the truck yet**
