Here it is. Not a beater, but it is the winter/wife's car. May have to get a beater though, because the rocks that the DOT puts down is h&ll on the paint!

Speedbump- my first car was a 1984 EXP! I had it for about a year before I got a Ranger, but I will never forget that thing. It had like 80 horsepower or something. Can't you get lawn tractors with 80 HP nowadays?

I don't have a L, i have a HD, but this is my work truck...85 F150 5.0 V8 with 130 miles on the clock and still going strong. still in great mechanical and cosmetic condition for being a work truck (construction) since it was new.
and this is the beater. 97 hyundai accent. 1,300$ and runs great. beats driving the HD in the snow and getting it all dirty!

This thread is back!
I just got my "winter beater" today. 85 Ford Ranger. 2.3L 4 Banger(It is gonna be slow) 5spd 4x4 Reg cab, rusty wheel wells 2" body lift. Needs a clutch and tires. Best thing about it>??? $100+$50tow+$172clutch+hopefully free tires=$372. Not a bad deal in my book. I am gonna run this thing into the ground and have a blast doing it. I love true beater cars!!!!! Not some of these other things you folks are showing. Anything over $2,000 just can't be beater in my mind. But I also and not made of money. My truck rocks! HaHa. -Mat-

hmm since i already have a lightning i'll take the cl600 and hayabusa...but i cant decide between the nav or the f350...
i'm picturing the nav on 22s (or 24s) with some nice custom stereo work or the f350 with a nice lift and some 38s...
f350 i guess since the topic is winter beater....
nice stable
