New Best

Nothing to write home to really, but here it be:

r/t: .743 (I know, I know - Pro light)
60': 1.884
1/8 et: 7.973
1/8 mph: 88.57
1/4 et: 12.422
1/4 mph: 109.75

I was expecting better results, but it was all in the track prep. The best 60' I got was 1.85 on ET Streets. It was about 40 degrees and only about 10 vehicles running. It would spin past the 60' mark then shift into 2nd, which is way too early, and would bog down. I have run 1.72 on an 1/8 mile track still breaking loose, so I know 1.6 60' times are there. I have the 13" Art Carr 2400 converter and Lakewoods. VERY low 12s are there...maybe high 11s if I can get good traction with similar weather conditions.

Anybody around Hallsville or Ennis, TX - How is the traction there?

Nothing wrong with a 12.4. Respectable numbers.

I hope you get your 11s though.

Thanks Vinnie. I won't be satisfied until I do.

I got a new Texas personal best today ...

Previously I ran a 12.52 at Cecil last fall... ( Stripped of seat, tonneau , spare etc ). But have had issues getting back in to 12's consistently in Texas...

Today TALON went to the 1/8 mile track near here and here are the results

r/t: .988 - (LOL - I was going for ET not RT )
60': 1.759 - ( Oh Yeah !!! )
1/8 et: 8.104
1/8 mph: 86.129

Sixpipes enjoyed the fact I was sleeping at the tree since he was in the other lane. We had 3 side by side runs down the track. One run we ran side by side 8.15's with 1.79 and 1.80 60 foots...

The weather today was high 60's, and a 20+ MPG head wind.

Since I was running at Full weight into a head wind I am VERY pleased with the results...

Since we have had so many bad tuner threads lately here is my take. I am running both PSP and JDM parts. Most from JDM.
The combo is running GREAT on my 49k mile 2000. Remember this Dyno sheet ?

Well my truck is running mid 12's at FULL weight in Normal temps and VERY safe tune. IN other words the parts are all working together VERY well. The combo is exceptional. Big time KUDOS to JIM and to SAL.

They have delivered exactly what I was looking for...

Also Kudos HAVE To go to Denton Dragway www.dentondragway.com. They have done a GREAT job of improving the track since they took it over. New pavement new track surface. And great track prep. 1.75 60' on spare rims with skinny 2 year old ETs streets is exceptional...
