This is a good color (my stock plugs)
This is "Border Line" TR-6's with 6lbs of boost.
If you look close you'll see they were burning great "BUT" getting little white spots all over the tips, (a tiny bit Too Hot)
This is them 14 days later, my fuel filter was clogged and when it starved for gas at the track, I melted three plugs.

The reason they turned green was because of Detonation.
My Lightning "doesn't ever have any Detonation" but when it starved for gas going down the 1/4, it only took a few seconds for the detonation to start, turn the plugs green, and burn 3 of them up in a seconds time. We think it may have been a bad tank of gas that caused that to happen.
We know the filter was clogged. This is the picture of my filter cut in half at 6k the day after the plug melt down.
My gas ""was"" bought from 2 new Amoco stations since the day I bought it. """"I WILL NEVER USE AMOCO AGAIN""""
