How many of you that have had motor problems were using Synthetic oil? I just read some interesting news about it and have become curious......

Thumbs up

At 4,000 miles, I changed over to Royal Purple #11 Synthetic Racing Oil(and K&N Gold filter). I don't change it rigidly--maybe every 8-10,000 miles?

No problems--none. No noises and I'm at 39,300 miles today.

Synthetic

Mobil 1 5/30 every 3000 or after every race, also use Mobil 1 ATF and change oil, oil filter, fuel filter and tranny fluid every 3K miles.
36K on the clock and so far, runs like a top...even with the mods(see sig)

Nice catch Joe

All better now....going to delete it soon, getting too damn long.
Think I will go with the performance #'s and times only...keep em all guessing how I am doing it...then I can tell them, "simple, just get your chip burned with the correct AFR# of 14.5 to 1" ...LOL
