Autometer Bezel Color?

Autometer Bezel Color?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the bezel in Autometer guages.

Basically, I have a set of Lunar guages that I want to have a black bezel. I'm willing to remove the silver bezel and paint them, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Anyone have any hints?

I believe they are crimped on there, or however they do it. I believe the only thing you can do is mask it off really well and paint them on the gauge :-(

yup

I called them and checked. There is no way to remove the bezels (they are crimped on).

I can get some glass mask and do it though...
