Define "Rice"
#2
The term has different meanings. Usually in the domestic world, rice is just about any non-domestic car thats modded, at least alot of us call it that. But in the import world it basically means any car that is just put together horribly, looks fast but isnt, too many stickers, etc. For example those cars running around with altezza taillights, huge aluminum spoilers (on front wheel drive cars of all things) and type-R sickers on their Toyota, I typically use it in this context.
I saw a nissan 240 this last friday with Type-R badges all over it. Thats rice.
I noticed you are from Cali. All my import friends say that the west coast import scene is alot better than the east coast scene, maybe you guys don't have as much rice as we do over here?

Any car where the mods actually slow it down from stock... be it a 100#s of stickers, wind resistance and weight of wing and body panels, or lowering to where camber causes the tires to ride on the inside rim lip... everyone has different ideas of what "rice" means.
I like and respect a Supra that goes 128mph in the quarter mile (heh, handed me my **** at the track), and any true import performance car. I hate the wannabe pretenders that overhype the look... all show, no go.
