trying to resolve my transmission issue, so once i got that taken care of (well for now), i walked in to the sales dept and put a hold on a black 03L.. not on xplan though, but they are going to bump up my trade in to make the deal work.. i cant wait

also when i pulled up, sitting in front of me was a ford thunderbolt.. after i gathered myself from almost dieing laughing, i went to check out the sticker.. 3k+ for the stupid "mods" they did to the ranger..

 

are they actually marketing the thunderbolts? what mods did they have? did they actually have the L motor in it? or is that the lightning bolt im thinking of?

sawgrass ford, when you pull in and are looking at the service bay, the showroom is on the left, and its near the door (outside) on the left side of the show room.. what a joke it is

also, whats up with the f&f2 filming causing 75 to be shut down.. as if that movie has the nerve to inconvience me!

and i had no luck with x-plan with maroone, however sawgrass ford is going to take care of me i think..

Ack SVTJer... sorry about the X-Plan. They budged for me and I got the truck on X-Plan in March of this year. I guess they have a lot of orders... oh well..

i was driving to the orange bowl for the hurricanes/pitt game, got off at the exit, i was accelerating up a bridge and it shifted so hard i thought i got impaled by a train from the back or something.. then it wouldnt shift until i left off the throttle, would kick out of gear under hard acceleration, o/d was flashing, so i took it to the dealer and it turns out mine had some defective mechanical diode that they put in the 4R100's from 7/00 to 8/00 (first 2001 f250s+) that they later found to be defective.. well of course they never sent out a recall, just a TSB i never knew about which expired in oct of 2001.. im 800 miles out of warranty, ford started at me paying the full $2800, then went to 50/50, then 75/25 once i provided them with some info and showed i knew what i was talking about (thanks f_t).. so $700 it is because they wont extend the TSB or fix it 100% since im out of warranty..

whats really gonna **** me off is when they dont have it fixed by friday so i wont be able to tailgate at the miami/vt game

but my 03L will be faster than a hurricane, and we all know how slow gators are
