How can a billion dollar corporation like Ford not come up with a design as nice as the ones some photoshop gurrie comes up with on his home computer??? It just doesn't make sense to me! I like all of them personally. Not bad at all. I just hope they take the cheap roof cover on the convertible off. If any of you have owned a 'Stand Convertible...you know what I'm talking about.

COME ON FORD!!! STEAL THIS CONCEPT!!!

the more i look at these pictures, the more i can't stand it. lose the louvers, the front, and the rear... i hate the pod headlights.

 

If you look at the Feb 03 issue of Motor Trend Truck Trends you just might forget about the Mustang, they have a drawing as such of the 04/05 F-150 regular cab. When looking at this truck you can visualize what a Lightning would/will look like. Less overhang at the wheels, less tire to wheelwell gaps, more slope to the windshield, BIG brakes,window opening like the current F-350, yeah baby me likes, especially with 500 ponies.

That's getting closer...

Don't worry. S-197 is by far the best looking mustang within my lifetime. First mustang I would actually want straight from Ford (cobra please).

 

If this is close....... It will be the first new Mustang of my adult life that is appealing enough to get me to purchase one. The '03 Cobra has the performance covered; but, it is still lacking in the looks department. I'd still buy one if something better wasn't just around the corner.

 

I agree completely. I love the performance of the current one..but god is it FUGLY!
