Joe, Too true on the R1's. They're such damn sexy bikes, and well built.
I just lost my first seasons race and dropped out the lead on the last lap due to the Suzuki tranny bolt situation (where you need to take it out and locktite it in cause some lazy *** didn't do it at the factory).
There's certainly something to be said about Yamaha's high quality...

It is truly a sad day fellas. I had to sell my bike. I have owned this GSXR1000 since Feb. '01, I got one of the very first ones and actually did not see another until months later. But there is a brighter side to this story, we had a baby girl March 18th. This is just one of many sacrifices that will be made for her. So I guess when it comes down to it, I lost 154rwhp today.

I went and looked at an 01 yamaha r6 yesterday. It was real nice! They were asking 7,000 for it so i had to pass. I want to spend around 4-5 grand for my first bike.
