I have a 2000 XLT Ext Cab truck. I'm trying to do the keypad install but I can not get it to work. I get it plugged in but onlt the "1" key will seem to work. When I press it, the 2 and 4 keys light up, but only while I press the 1 key. The other keys do not have an effect. I noticed the wiring colors from the harness to the plug change. There is one wire in the harness that is hot. And the colors do match for that wire.

Do i need to alter the wiring at all to get this to work. The pad I am using is from an Expedition, I didn't think that would matter.

Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you in advance.
