Cool Hey Daylighters...Let's cook some chicken!!

I got two more 165 W'ers on last night. Wow there hot!!! The first pic is the bracket my dad and I made, the second is all four on the truck, and the third is about 10 o'clock at night @ about 75 yards away!!! What do ya think? I figure if we can get Mudder, CCLA, and the rest of the KC crew together we could cook some tasty chicken.

Question

I simply wanted to know if you're still running your stock battery and alternator? I want to run two 165W KC Daylighters but stick with my stock items - possible?

Thanks!

F150Y2K, no I didn't upgrade any thing other than the relay for the lights. The stock alternator and battery should be fine. Hell Mudders running 8 165w and 2 55w with stock stuff. You be just fine with 2 Daylighters and the stock power.

Cool

That looks really good buddy. I think we need to start a light club now I really like it, it makes me happy to see that you made the right choice with KC, the number one choice in off-road lighting.

Yea Mudder, How about Club Daylighter, The KC Crew, The Don't Flash You Lights At Me Or I'm Gonna Blind Your *** Org.. Now I'm designing some trick little brackets for the 5X7's. It's just finding time to build them. It took me 2 weeks to find the time to bend the bar.

Cool

Well I don't know if I should say or not but my brothers truck is for sell so we are pullin the front bumper and winch off the front along with all the chrome pieces, which include 6 Daylighters.....guess where those are goin? Yeah, now I can save a few dollars for other items....Now I gotta start thinkin about more mountin brackets. Tonight I'll get some pics of the other lights.....or should I say my new lights

Chris, that is fine with me, it's your truck.

Spargo, you ever thought about havin a sticker made for the winshield? I'm thinkin about gettin a new one made. Maybe " The Bright One", or maybe somethin like "The KC Crew" or somethin of that effect. I think that light club idea would be cool, just a few of us in it until it maybe one day catches on. Chris, Spargo, CCLA, Dave in Waco, Big ED, wanna do it, or is it dumb?

Yea Patrick, I'm still trying to think of a good slogan for a sticker and something for the personal plate, any ideas? What do you think, a Light bar or a Roll bar? I can't make up my mind, but it's getting 4 more. One of the two is definatly next. Mounting brackets are no problem for me, I'll rig something up.

Spargo2,

Sounds good, I think you should go with a roll bar. After lookin at my roll bar today and thinkin about where to stick the other lights, me and my father decided to double stack them on the roll bar. Four on four, I think it will look pretty tough. Just got a figure out a good plan, which shouldn't be a problem. Later.

Spargo2,

Ok, no problem, I'll get the pics up later this evening.

Firezap,

Yep, we are thinkin about another battery, maybe hide one in my tool box or somethin like that, but not sure.

JDm,

I have also thought of that, but right now I just wanna work on gettin the new 4 mounted, then I'll think of new way. The roll bar cost me $285 and I got it from Performance Products, ordered out of their catalog.
