Location of Train Air Horns

Where is everyone placing or locating their horns on Theire F150`s??? Please take a few pic.`s to show where & how you have placed them.

I made a bracket out of 1.5" x 3' steel at hardware store and put them behind The grill.

where did u mount ur air tank and how hard and expensive iis it????

Looks like the air tank is right there on the left.

the air thank is almost the size of a nitrous bottle so i doubt thats it

That's probably the compressor. I've got a two trumpet unit from WOLO mfg. Used the original Ford horn mounting bracket with the trumpets pointing down. I mounted compressor & relay behind left headlamp assy.

i was jus told that u dnt have to have an air tank.. u can jus turn that compressor on and use the air thats comin through the compressor.. so saves some money and room.

Whats the point then???????? it will be as loud as your stock horn with a quick blast. a train horn is meant to be loud(152db) @150 psi

yea if u dont get the tank its not gonna be that loud, cause the horns use alot of air. the compressor isnt gonna be able to build air up fast enough to keep up with the horn.

I have a set of three large as hell train horns and i placed them vertically right behind my head lights and bumper, and the tank is mounted right behind my license plate behind the bumper, but the one thing is the loud compressor, pain!, but the horns are loud which is what i wanted!!

Thats where to get train horns, those guys are sick, i bought a set a year ago and love it ever since!
