Coil Packs

Anyone running the High Performance COPS from Troyer? (Sorry I know the subject says coil packs, but I meant COPS!)

Is this upgrade a necessity for Supercharging, or for running Nitrous?

alot of the high HP lightnings 600+ all use stock coils, i have heard that most of the aftermarket coils have alot of problems and to stay with the stock ones. this is what i have read and heard.

You think I could run nitrous on the stock COP's? My other post about the fuel pump was so I could prep for either nitrous or a supercharger. I'm no where near 600 HP. LOL But that would save me a cool $4 bills or so...

Depends on whether you believe all the marketing hype. Granetelli sells High Performance???????????????? cops for a BIG chunk on change. Kinda like those magic coils you can connect to your ignition that promise the world.
I would try improved cop boots & solid plug connectors instead of the stock Ford plug spring connectors. Use dielectric grease in the boots to prevent arcing & tracking.

MotoBlue Cops

I am seriously thinking about the Motoblue cops. I already bought a set of stock cops from Global Automotive so I will be ok.
