Troyer has dual 16" fan kits, my Perma-Cools are 13" but again, not necessarily the diameter, but how much CFM you pull thru. Bigger isnt always better if the fan motor cant spin the blades fast enough to pull adequate air thru. But any kit designed for clutch fan replacement has to have good CFM to even be rated for automobile use. But just size-wise, two 16" fans might be as big as you can go for two fans, any larger and you might be restricted to a single fan.

Most 16" fans move between 2400-2800 cfm. A good two speed will move 3000 at low speed and close to 4500 at high.

Specs on my setup is 5900 CFM at a 19 amp draw. Not bad for 13" fans. If you are able to come up with a less costly home-made kit and get plenty of air thru the radiator, then you will enjoy saving some $$ over a finished kit and get a little better mpg and pickup-n-go.

470 bucks, ouch!

My truck doesn't need but half that on a 100 degree day even with a supercharged 32 valve 5.4. I have a MADFAN two speed and the only time it ever kicks into high is when I'm caught in traffic and it's 100+.

The only cooling mods I have made is an '04 Navi Pump and the 2 row Lightning radiator.

I had a monetary gift to help me out!

I have the stock standard radiator in my truck, if I had the same radiator as you my fans probably would kick in less, but my fan t-stat is set 10 F below the coolant t-stat set point so mine kick in a little more often, just a safety thing.
