I'm shocked I have not really seen any trucks on here with winches or brush guards. I Have a 2000 F150 and I found what brush guard I want to buy, a stainless steel one for $280 shipped off ebay but I was looking at putting a winch on also. Only real mounting system I've found is the warn hidden one but it moves your bumper out 5" which seems to me would make the guard not work or look horrible. Anyone have or seen a combination that works?

 

ive seen a few of the f150s with the hidden warn mount and they dont have the bumpers moved out at all. i know on the older style from 97-00 i think, the bumper has a large hole in the center and the winch is accessed thru this hole, but on the newer style 01-03 bumpers the winch is completely hidden behind the bumper and the roller fairlead is mounted below the bumper in the plastic valance..ive got some pics i can upload for you if need be

 

When I looked it up on warns website it said for the 2000 it would move the bumper out 5 inches. Now they supply a plastic covering for the top so you dont have a huge gap but I think the brush guard will hit the bumper because the mounts for it didnt move out just the bumper did. I saw ramsey made a bumper/winch mount combo but I've only found it in black, I need chrom or SS
