Question Are there any larger aftermarket fuel tanks available?

I have the 30 gallon tank, and want something in the 40 to 50 gallon range. Is there a replacement aftermarket tank available? How about a secondary tank option? I am not interested in having a fuel tank in the bed.

So, what are my options?

this was brought up awhile ago, for some of us that have the 27 gal tank. It was some outrageous price to upgrade to the 35 gal. As far as a 40-50 gal, I think the only option that you have is a secondary tank mounted in the bed.

Is the factory standard tank 30gal? If you went with a larger tank would the fuel gauge/cluster/computer/whatever need to be reprogrammed?

I believe there was an option of an 27 and 35 gallon tank. I think all you needed for the upgfrade was a new sending unit and straps for the bigger tank.

standard is the 20 or 22 (or somwehere in that nieghborhood) tank for my MY, and as for the guage, no, as it is a float sensor. For electronics, I dont know, as I have the basics (not even power windows/locks!!!). I really want to upgrade to 35 gallons, but as was said, it is outrageously priced...

I was hoping to hear it was an easy swap, and low cost, lol. I figured it was no more difficult than locating a bigger tank from a wrecked truck, and swapping it out.
