Well I think that's one of the latest options for the newer chevies (2000-up, since his or her is an earlier model) to fight back Ford's. He may got that one from the dealer since I think those are not available in the aftermarket. To be effective against Ford trucks he must have the 360º option because he will be aiming to the front most, if not all, the time.

All of a sudden I think they were casting for the second part of Desert Patrol.

Just imagine being behind that guy and the tailgate closed. You get a little close and he hits button and you see that thing slowly rise out of the bed. Brakes anyone.
You gotta love it. Too bad it was not on the option list when I got my F-150.

I saw that a few days back, I love it. You can see it can be covered with the roll-track cover in the back of the bed. It would be great for terrorists. They could take out jumbos with that! I bet it's legal too, what a country.

Those are not cannons, it is a pair of Browning M2 caliber .50 heavy barrel machineguns. And yes they are legal in 40 states, properly registered on an ATF Form 4 and tax paid.
