Westmarine has some pretty good speakers. Mine was only about $15 and it sounds pretty good. Im prolly gonna get a louder one though. I just have mine wedged under my hood. I love it!!

CB-Got it from Walmart for $35.(Cobra 19 Ultra III)
5 ft Whip Antenna- Radioshack for $25
12 watt PA- West Marine for $15

can i get a detailed explanation on how you guys wired the CB directly to the fuse box

you will need a fuse tap. you can get them at autozone or radioshack. its basically plug and play. just wire the cb into the tap, and plug the tap in

i used the fuse for power folding mirrors/dvd power since i dont have either of those things, but instead of using a fuse tap i just used the fuse to push the wire into the fuse box and it works perfectly.

ya that will work, but if the wire is touching both ends of the fuse. the fuse will become useless and you risk frying whatever its connected to

yea just gotta be careful when you are plugging it in. i bent the wire over the prong by about an eighth and then put a little piece of tape on the fuse to hold everything in place while i pushed it in.

proper way is a fuse tap for sure but if your to lazy and dont feel like running out to the store again that way works too. next time im at the mall i'll have to pick up some taps.

why would you put the cb under your seat. If youre actually gonna use it ya aint gonna be able to see the screen

alright guys i must be pretty dumb becasue you all say the fuse tap is plug and play and i cant figure out how to use the stupid thing
