Thumbs up Installed home made FIPK

Parts totalled $60.00. Stan's Headers in Auburn, WA already has the 3.5 inch tubes cut 90 degrees and Nate cut it down to size and butt welded a 3 in. reducer to it. The rubber snout is a mother#$%^%^^&& to get off! I still have the stock filter and box on so I might just get a replacement K&N and duct to the fender. The fender hole is 3.5 inches which is the same size as the snout on the filter box so I'm thinking of using another peeper on that end to reach the hole. Right now there's definately more of a growl to the intake noise. Next is a trip to the local muffler shop. The guy puts on free-flowing bus mufflers which are the same size as stock and make a nice rumble, plus they're cheaper than aftermarket as the stock pipes are pretty smooth anyways.
