You gotta get the Radio, Whip, Whip mount, and maybe a little extra wire. I cant remeber how much came with my radio. It pretty much needs to connect to a power source and a ground. You should beable to find a PA That has a long wire that should just plug into the back of the CB. I got mine from West Marine for 15 bucks.

It works great. Obviously not as good as the big money ones but all my buddies have the same one and it works great. I had a smaller antenna before and I could really tell the difference when i got the 102.

I have no idea
Maybe to stop it from hitting the truck when offroad
Mine has never hit though. The toolbox helps that.

I have noidea what the meter is. I just plugged it in and it works. Maybe that makes it work a little better or something. Not sure.

Someone once told me that if you hook an amp up to your cb, that you can key up and talk into it, and the car next to you can hear it on their radio. Is this true. He said it was very illegal though.

Not sure. But it would be pretty hilarious. Have the car start talking to them.

The SWR meter is used to tune the radio and antenna combo to its peak efficiency. If this is not done you will most likely be buying a new radio in the not to distant future. You want to get channel 1 and 40 to an SWR of 2 or below for the best performance.

Any one that I have ever talked to about antenna installs said that they had to be tuned to the mounting location on the vehicle and the radio its installed on. I may have been fed a line of BS but I have had quiet a few CB's and tuned every one and never had a problem.

It helps to have them tuned. I have never tuned mine and I have had 5 different antenna combos on two different trucks and havent had any problems or any need to have them tuned. I dont know anyone who has tuned one so I am not sure how much it helps but it cant hurt.
